March 6, 2006 —  ABC News is working on a report about what families can and should be doing to prepare for a bird flu pandemic.

If you and your family have started taking precautions to prepare — like stockpiling Tamiflu, loading up on food and water, and making emergency plans — ABC News wants to hear from you.

ABC just want to tell other people what some are doing to prepare, I don't think they are going to post your picture and your address. I think we should do it. When people hear how much effort we are going through to prepare they might feel like they should get at it as well. The more people out there doing things to help themselves, the less people there will be trying to bang your door down when TSHTF.

What is a Survivor Panama?

They are not asking anyone to go on TV, it just says they are working on a report, and to participate fill out the form and tell your story. It also says to let them know if you can be contacted, probably just to answer questions.

ads mean they want to sell people N95 masks at $40 for 20... buy now while supplies last

No doubt this is all just to get together a good story to scare the public and up their ratings. But... maybe the public needs to be scared. You would not believe how many people say "Oh it will never happen". Just because you fill out the form does not mean you will have to let anyone in your house to film anything... it isn't a contract just a form much like this one. I mean you all have these big list of preps here on this privite form. Stop being so afraid.

Brother, after reading your clever posts, I no longer think that I'm all that clever.  You, my friend, are clever.  Good one.  And you literally defined corporate America and my company to a 'T' and also exactly why I dislike 'reality' TV.  Bravo.  I knew that I didn't like reality TV and now I know EXACTLY why.  I'm sure that Freud is sitting somewhere simling at your insight.
