The Canada geese that winter here in West Texas have pretty much headed north, only a few remain. As I've said before, when they return in November, they will probably be carrying H5N1 with them. How we are going to cope with hundreds of thousands of them, I have no idea. Their feces cover all our parks and schoolyards. I haven't heard of any plans from any level of government. |

Didn't see any dead ones. :-) We take walks around a lake that has hundreds on it at a time and nothing. Also, no reports of any strange deaths and I'd conservatively say there is 100,000 on the lakes within Lubbock's city limits at any given time. |
