   I just read something on twitter about two new cases of bird flu in Cambodia of an older version. Anyone have any news on this?

This case involves a 2-year-old girl from Prey Veng province, who appears to have died. This could be a second bird flu fatality, the first being a 50yr old man, reported in the tweet above. DJ, so-if correct-Cambodia had three fatalities this year due to H5N1; february 11 y/o girl october 50 y/o man october 2 y/o girl At least two of them -the two girls- linked to Prey Veng province. ------------ H5N1 is widespread in both birds and mammals -more or less around the globe. It WILL mix with other flu-virusses in a host...I think the major risk will be in H5N1 mixing with a H1/H2/H3 flu virus... Flu virussspread is already decreasing eggs/poultry in a.o. South Africa...so it does increase food costs...
