I have no links or evidence to back up these thoughts so don’t beat me up. I am just putting this out there to spur debate   Is it possible the COVID was a deliberate release by a disgruntled or manic scientist in China ?  If so could there have been a while later in Africa a group of virologists who engineered a cure (omicron) and released it to counteract the more deadly Alpha variant?

Personally I think anything's possible with Covid. The detailed analysis of it's genetic code shows that it's not a naturally mutated virus, it's been engineered on some level, so yes maybe it was never meant for distribution and was intentionally released by someone who wanted to witness the chaos. Who knows? I doubt we'll ever know.

Those who got it wrong, for whatever reason, may feel defensive and retrench into a position that doesn’t accord with the facts.

Has anyone else experienced with Omicron in January 2022 take out their sense of smell only to get B 2.5 variant in July and have nightmares that end up restoring your sense of smell?
