My takings on the article....

It is quite rare (0,08% of Covid cases lead to MIS-C.

But if it hits then 80% end in ICU (so far that is over 4,000 children in the USA)

Case Fatality Rate, over time, is lowish (0,88%) but that is still devastating for the families.  The good news is that as doctors have learned more about treating this, as the article reports, CFR has fallen from 2.4 to 0.7%.

The bad news is that the virus can stay much longer in the body than nasal swabs can detect: "recently found evidence that the source of those symptoms could be the coronavirus, which can survive in the gut for weeks after it disappears from the nasal passages, "
