Good to finally see some numbers on mild cases, but you have to wonder if they’re the “official” Chinese government figures.

I was thinking the same thing, carbon. It was nothing more than a bad flu season in the early part of 1918, then it disappeared before coming back with the cooler weather in the fall as a fully human virus.
