Clinical trials showed the vaccine has an efficacy of 95 percent. Clinical trials showed the vaccine has an efficacy of 62 to 90 percent, depending on dosage. Trial results are expected in January. How the Gamaleya Vaccine Works The vaccine, known as Sputnik V or Gam-Covid-Vac, is a combination of two different Adenoviruses, Ad26 and Ad5. The vaccine is in use in Russia, Belarus and several other countries. A Phase 3 trial showed an efficacy of 91 percent. Trials in Brazil found an overall efficacy of just over 50 percent, the minimum threshold set by many regulatory agencies for authorizing a coronavirus vaccine. How Bharat Biotech’s Vaccine Works The vaccine, known as Covaxin, is authorized for emergency use in India, despite a lack of published Phase 3 trial results. The vaccine’s efficacy is not yet known. Thanks for that very important information technophobe, I am very interested in the J&J vaccine, Not sure what we getting here yet, Don't think we have a choice, won't be for a while yet though, Take care all 😷😉 |

I'm pretty sure Australia has started to approve the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines and has decided not to approve the Oxford one. In trials published last week they announced that they found the Oxford one to only be about 62 % effective and therefore not good enough. I suspect that we will follow Australia. |

Those who got it wrong, for whatever reason, may feel defensive and retrench into a position that doesn’t accord with the facts.
