DJ,

Since ksc is sabotaging "nuclear war" in the latest news section I switch to daily posts...

Ukraine;

Both Military Summary (MS) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_W5N4-5G58 or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_W5N4-5G58 and Weeb Union (WU) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c801aq8tEGM or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c801aq8tEGM discuss a possible offensive of Ukraine in southern Ukraine...

Some basic points;

-goal is to disrupt Russian logistics in the south, blocking the road Donetsk-Mariupol, taking over (rail)roads so Russia would have less ways for transport

-Also the Zaparozje nuclear power plant could be a main target-Ukraine was supposed to export electricity (to the EU...) but Russia now attacking powerplants in Ukraine-stopping most (military) train-transports-is undoing those plans.

WU puts pro-Russian forces in the south of Ukraine at 100,000, 25,000 of them west of the Dnjepr in Kherson...WU estimates for Ukraine to start an offensive it needs a 3-to-1 military surplus. So Ukraine could need 3x75=225,000 soldiers to start such a major offensive....

MS points out;

-Ukraine offensive in NE Donbas region running into problems...The forests offering protection against Russian attacks now also a problem for Ukraine forces moving north...

-Ukraine unable to get its forces in all of the Kharkov-region (1-40th of the Russian held territory) Ukraine military now overstretched ?

-MS a.o. earlier mentioned Ukraine did loose a lot of military/material in its offensive...Russia pulled out with very limited losses...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=suOGqayZk9w or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=suOGqayZk9w Jimmy Dore Show ;

The news networks have brimmed with stories lately of the stunning Kharkiv counter-offensive that has seen Ukraine recapture vast swathes of territory from the invading Russians. Have we reached a turning point in the war? Is the handwriting on the wall for Putin and his marauding Russian hordes? Or is this a mere blip, a short-term stumble for the Russian Bear before he continues his inexorable march across all of the Donbass, and possibly all of Ukraine? Jimmy and his panel of America’s comedian Kurt Metzger and The Dive’s Jackson Hinkle discuss this surprising turn of events in the Ukraine War and their larger significance.

conclusion, another paper/PR "Ukraine victory" NOT changing the perspectives...

MS mentions pro-Russia militia gaining ground in the eastern Donbas. Ukraine forces being shelled by Russian artillery...Russia now in a stronger position...

DJ-Perspectives;

-Ukraine did get extra NATO weapons/training but may have lost most of it-including trained soldiers-in the latest offensives...

-Russia has to increase its involvement if it wants to see an end to this war before winter (and maybe by increasing shelling they are allready increasing involvement...)

-NATO is running out of weapons to provide to Ukraine...however indications may be more NATO military involvement via drones, artillery/missiles by NATO military behind frontlines...

-NATO is hoping to "win the war" to solve their growing energy/inflation crisis...so far no indication NATO is willing to talk to Russia..

DJ several Russian "managers" did die...Sort of MI6/CIA death squad active in Russia ?

https://southfront.org/mercenaries-reportedly-shooting-civilians-to-blame-russians-in-kharkov/ or https://southfront.org/mercenaries-reportedly-shooting-civilians-to-blame-russians-in-kharkov/ ...

https://southfront.org/europes-leaders-continue-to-prioritise-us-interests-over-citizens-wellbeing/ or https://southfront.org/europes-leaders-continue-to-prioritise-us-interests-over-citizens-wellbeing/

DJ support for western governments is decreasing now energycosts are destroying both jobs and family-finance...for what ? NATO expansionism ?

Other frontlines;

Armenia-Azerbaijan https://southfront.org/salami-chef-of-the-caucus/ or https://southfront.org/salami-chef-of-the-caucus/ ;

The first attack will be used as a case study by the Azeris to observe the world reaction & to assess its future plans. This was carried out at one of the most chaotic times of modern history so the reactions were very watered down , mild & next to unimportant. There were a couple of American senators who spoke out against the attack & went further condemning it. There were calls for calm & restraint but was there a global outrage & total condemnation of the unprovoked, unjust attack on Armenians ? Did the EU impose a travel ban on the preparators or threatened sanctions on Azeris if they continue this path ? No. The news slipped away after 24 hours & despite efforts by the Armenian public to keep it a float was not fruited.

Azeris will keep killing & maiming the Armenians in Artsakh. Always a step short of an all out assault. So the reactions of the stakeholders will always be the same. Calls for calm & restrain & a set of isolated condemnations. There will be no need for heavy handed diplomacy or military actions against the Azeris since it’s one attack at a time. Azeris will come up with their own terms & conditions for a halt of the attacks. In exchange for a totally demilitarized Artsakh. This is where this game of chicken is heading towards. In exchange for total calmness of the fronts, the Armenians in Artsakh will be asked to give up their own defenses. Then there will be one final push where Azeris will finish off the Karabakh issue once & for all.

It is a fact that neither the European Union nor the Americans can help the Armenians in a sensible manner. Only the Russians can make a real call on this. They seem to be working with an understanding with the Azeris though. Are the Russians culpable in this ? Will the Russians throw the Armeinas under the bus ? Well not unless they get a sweet deal as sweet as this one and a strategic posturing that is really worth it. The Russians’ complicity with the Turkish administration is what is worth a proper observation. Russians could be lured into a much worth deal in Syria, Libya or even the Ukrainian conflict. A Turkish pullout of Syria & a demilitarized & subjugated Idlib will be worth for Rusiians in exchange for a demilitarized Artakash. It is always where the stakes are higher.

The question is whether or not the Armenians decide to ignore & live with such a dangerous reality that seems to be unfolding right in front of their eyes. Will they wake up now & start to do something about it is totally in the interest of that nation’s future survival. Otherwise it will be a day late and a Dollar short for the Armenians in this century.

DJ-The war starting just after Iran-deal talks failed can not be an incident...Armenia at this moment "may have no friends"...Russia willing to make deals both with Türkiye and Azerbaijan (on oil)...also securing the Caspian Sea Route for Russia-Iran-India trade will go above defending parts of Armenia-claimed land ...

The west turning again a blind eye to pen agression-as long it fits their agenda...

We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.

Putin puppets premise of Nato running out of weapons before the eventual nazi defeat is laughable. New and superior weapons are flowing into Ukraine daily as the nazis beg third world countries for their antique stockpiles...

WSJ: Ukraine to ask US, allies for long-range weaponsUkraine will request additional weapons from the U.S. and its allies, including Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATMS), which have a range of over 300 km. The announcement comes amid Ukraine’s ongoing counteroffensives.

The offensive operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (and NATO) in the Kharkiv region was planned by the US military command. About 200 units of heavy military equipment and up to 9,000 soldiers were involved in last week's offensive.

Reportedly, forensic examination of the dead bodies from the Offensive reveal that one in three soldiers operating under the Ukrainian chevron was a citizen of a NATO member state.

These forces were 4-5 times superior to the units of the DPR, LPR and Russia that were defending their positions in the region.

The main goal of the Ukrainian offensive was a flank attack, encirclement and subsequent destruction of the Russian grouping in the area of Balakleya, Kupyansk and Izyum.

The Russian command predicted the offensive of large forces of Ukraine and NATO in this direction. It was aware that it would be extremely difficult to contain Ukraine's offensive with the forces that Russia had there. It was also virtually impossible to move sufficient reinforcements in time without weakening other areas on other front lines. Having assessed the risks, the Russian military decided to leave the weakly fortified positions and withdraw troops to new lines and straighten the lines of communication.

Before the start of the Ukrainian offensive, civilians were evacuated from the threatened settlements, who agreed to move to the territory of the Russian Federation.

From September 6 to September 11, Russian units retreated in an organized manner under the cover of specially organized units. Using mobile defense tactics, the Russian military destroyed the plan of Kyiv and NATO to encircle the Russian group.

At the same time, obvious mistakes were made by the Russian military. The area in front of the forward positions was not mined. Units on the front lines de facto comprised no more than 30 percent of the enumerated military personnel. The soldiers were not properly provided with anti-tank weapons. There were also front-line reconnaissance failures. As a result, the artillery cover of the withdrawal was ineffective in the first days of the Ukrainian offensive.

Russian troops were withdrawn to new positions along the eastern bank of the Oskol River with minimal losses. Meanwhile, both sides confirm that Ukrainian and NATO units have suffered significant losses in manpower.

It is expected that, within days, the official assessment of the Russian Ministry of Defense will be publicly acknowledged that the armed conflict in eastern Ukraine has definitively escalated into a state of war between Russia and NATO, with unpredictable results for all parties to the conflict.

This assessment is important because the Ukrainian/NATO side is the first, so far at an unofficial level, to engage in NATO's direct war against Russia, while Russia continues to operate with the term "special military operation", continuing to use limited forces and means.

Given the new reality that this is, in fact, an actual war between NATO and Russia, military analysts in the Russian Army have suggested it will be expedient to limit and complicate the provision and supply of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the utmost. They have told their Russian bosses that all routes for the supply of weapons and material and technical means, bridges, railways and highways, places of concentration of troops and military equipment must be destroyed.

Key to the Russian military analysis is the assessment that the railway network of Ukraine must be completely de-electrified without the possibility of restoration.

It is widely understood within the Russian Ministry of Defense that no more offensive attempt by NATO forces should come as an unpleasant surprise to the Russian army. COVER INTEL reports that Mobile reserves of both ground forces and artillery, as well as aviation, must be created by Russia to instantly respond to emerging threats.

COVERT INTEL also reveals that the number of Russian troops should become consistent with the new threats that have emerged.

DJ, the war in Ukraine is more and more a war between NATO and Russia fought on Ukraine soil...further escalation increase risks of nuclear war...(I do NOT agree with most of HT views...however this info is reflecting the view of lots of observers...)

We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.

Hal Turner's views are complete rubbish and only a few ignorant and naive followers pay for that trash. The only experience in combat Hal Turner had was a short stint in the military, and he was almost immediately discharged, arrested for cocaine possession, and then jailed for making threats against government officials. They should've thrown away the key....

I just noticed the phrase "covert intel", lol!!

The only covert intel this pos would have comes from the voices inside his demented head...

Ukrainian officer tells how Russians fled when Ukrainian Army reached state border in Kharkiv Oblast

: In wake of Kharkiv counter-offensive, Russian troops flee from Melitopol toward Crimea, mayor says

NV: How did the counter-offensive begin for you and your volunteer unit?

Kozhemiako: Of course, here, among the military and those involved in these processes, things had long been ripening and everyone was waiting for it. When our guys moved to Balakliya, everyone understood that this was the beginning! And certain successes were achieved. (Everything) was planned so gradually that other units also began to advance in different areas.

It was not always easy, (there was some) resistance, but everyone advanced. And the 127th territorial defense unit, to which we are subordinate, also moved forward in the north, together with the national guards, toward the state border. The command assigned us the task of entering certain settlements and ensuring control there, which we did.

NV: In footage you published on social networks, we saw how you reached the Ukrainian-Russian border. In particular, we saw the border ‘wall’ (construction project) of former Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

Kozhemiako: Famous. It was a humorous video, because we need to somehow cheer ourselves and people up. In order to reach that wall, we marched about 15 kilometers on foot, passed two villages, and were quite exhausted… The fact that we reached the border is the work of the entire unit, several units worked, a lot of people. Our task was just to enter those villages that are very close to the border. We saw these crossing points and also “cleaned” them. I would not like to say that it was only us who reached it, because everyone reached it on different flanks. As you know, yesterday near Vovchansk, but only my video became so popular for some reason.

NV: Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov said that the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kharkiv Oblast was even more successful than expected. And it really looks like a lightning, fantastic success. Why do you think the Russians fled so fast that even we did not expect?

Kozhemiako: First of all, what we see confirms the military operation was very carefully and very well planned, this is a fact. And it gives a lift! I’m very happy that everything is happening not only due to the heroism of the Ukrainian people and those who defend Ukraine, but thanks to military thought. This offensive was very carefully planned, a lot of facts were taken into account, it’s true.

The curtain protecting the dignity of Russia's military has been pulled back

(CNN)The tsar suddenly might have no clothes. It has been a startling week on both sides of the Ukraine and Russia border.

What's left of the curtain protecting the dignity of Russia's military has been pulled back, and it's definitely not the second mightiest in the world.
Russia's withdrawal from around Kharkiv -- a planned "regrouping" that some state media didn't even dare mention -- is arguably more significant than its earlier collapse of positions around the Ukrainian capital Kyiv. These units had been dug in for months, defending their positions effectively -- as CNN witnessed during weeks spent along the arterial roads north out of Kharkiv -- and were at times literally minutes drive from the Russian border.
That Moscow could not sustain a force so achingly close to its own territory speaks volumes about the real state of its supply chain and military. It is almost as if these retreating units ran back to a void, not to the nuclear power that in February expected to overrun its neighbor within 72 hours.

Secondly, Russia's units do not appear to have effected a careful and cautious withdrawal. They ran, and left behind both armor and precious remaining supplies of ammunition. Open source intelligence website Oryx estimated that from Wednesday to Sunday, at least 338 fighter jets or tanks or trucks were left behind.
Pockets of Russian troops may remain to harass Ukrainian forces in the weeks ahead, but the nature of the frontline has irrevocably changed, as has its size. Kyiv is suddenly fighting a much smaller war now, along a greatly reduced frontline, against an enemy who also appear a lot smaller.

Indeed, Russia's army relies now on forced mobilization and prisoners for its depleted ranks. Ukraine has been quite surgical, hitting supply routes to cut off already exhausted units, detecting which were the least prepared and manned. It's been staggeringly effective and speedy.
