Phases
 
0.1 A novel virus subtype is isolated from a single human case. No evidence of further spread or outbreak activity.
 
0.2 Two or more human infections with the novel human subtype are confirmed. No evidence of human to human transmission.
 
0.3 Human to human transmission is confirmed.
 
1.0 Onset of pandemic. The new virus subtype causes several outbreaks in at least one country, shows international spread, and causes serious morbidity and mortality in at least one segment of the population

Just reading through a WHO Doc online called "Avian Influenza: Assessing the Pandemic Threat"  and came across their REAL Phases.

I understand your interest in Phases... however I really think they will continue to revise them to protect the financial markets.
 
They do not want to create widespread financial destruction and panic.
 
This document is about 18 months old and the Who has revised it several times since then.

We have known that there is either, no pandemic ...or... pandemic.
 
It is a good thing to protect the markets. smart.

Interest in phases ?
 
The phases are a joke.
 
These are DESCRIPTIVE phases used to address nonmedical interventions at the national level. They described when paticular actions should be taken. You can actually see some of the interventions they are using now on the chart.
 
This is a good document to take a look at.

BTW just for the record my problem isnt with WHO SCIENTISTS.
Their information is second to none.
It has never been disseminated to the general population.
And if that rattles financial markets than maybe it should because its going to do a hell of a lot worse if the unwashed masses are caught off guard by this whole mess.

Pony I understand your frusteration!
 
What should happen and what does happen is rarely the same thing!
 
Based on experience; I try to not waste energy fighting battles I can not win.  I think we are all capable of seeing the truth.  Power corrupts and like it or not... we have to work around that simple truth!
 
For now I will watch for actions and shreds of reality that we will need to protect ourselves. And yes we can see some of the actions described in the document regarding the phases in place/use today!  They may not have declare the next phase... however they have taken the actions described within them. We need to pay close attention to this type of information...
 
ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS!
 
My take is that it could happen any day... however it is most likely that it will play out over time... I intend to pay close attention in the mean time!
 
I will stick to science and a desire to uncover the truth... to lead the way!
 
The truth can not be hidden if you have the courage to really see it!  And sometimes our own pictures of what we think life should be like.... gets in the way of really being able to understand what is happening before us.
 
Making decisions that protect the welfare of large groups of people is something most of us will never be confronted with.  There are considerations that need to be taken into account that most of us do not understand!  I feel for those in the position to protect the world who really do have the best intentions for our good and may not be able to because they simply can not! Mr. Lee of the WHO did die of a stroke, God only know what role stress played in his early departure from his quest!  I do believe he was a good man.

You are misinterpreting me but am not going to bother trying to explain.

There are many documents one can examine for analysis and interpretation and the one posted here is for that purpose.
 
That is the purpose of us being here, right ?

This phase stuff does not phase me in the least.

Being their first possibly real pandemic, maybe WHO is going through a phase where they have to phase-in new phase policies. In any respect, thus far the financial markets do not seem particularly phased by any of the phases WHO has been through. In addition, the public seems to have not been phased by the current phase of pandemic alert. Should the phase increase to Phase 4, then, maybe, the public might be phased a little. In summary, the lack of phasical action by WHO should not phase you. Instead you should monitor the situation as it exists on the ground, without regard to any phases imposed by a governmental entity. You should establish your owner personal alert phase and be sure to your readiness is such that you can sustain yourself during all phases of the various alert phases.

After all, maybe WHO is teetering between Phase 3 and Phase four, with the actual situation crossing the borders of both phases and coexisting in both at the same time..... it just hit me... could that be referred to as paraphasing?

Ok... enough of the Sunday morning humor. I am going back to sleep.

WHO phased me first?
MountainWillie was phased and in phases passed it on,
but WHO's phase is permanent
that with worldly help can open up to let us know
at what phase and time we should go.

Carolina kid,

There is even prepping for the horses ie., hay grain and shavings.
Am sort of behind on those guys and trying to catch up.
If there is a crisis want them to be as well cared for as usual
