Herbal Healer News reports that they were told "not to mention anything that could be used to help the Bird Flu"  I received my newsletter today.
 
Why is the government censoring the health food industry from helping people fight this Bird Flu?

I received the newsletter as well.  I think what may have happened is that .gov is just cautioning the suppliers not to make claims for their products that they ordinarily aren't allowed to make anyway.  Not that I agree with the policy, but I think it may just be same old same old.
