Hi Maysday,
You are so right - my children have so much more buying power than I do. I guess they will have to be content with rice, beans, tuna. I did get some teddy bear cookies for the babies and other good tasting stuff such as apple sauce and even some candy and some weird long colorful gummy worms that, by the way, taste delicious (I had to try). Only three persons in the family like coffee, including me, but like you, the coffee is mine... I may let them smell it.
Good luck to you too and to everybody in this great neighborhood. I cannot stop saying that I have learned and continue to learn so very much.

tigger1, you are just a sweetheart and if you didn't already have a
mama I think I would adopt you. By the way I'm from the Deep South, The
Bible Belt.
I do like people who look out for family. My family is my blood. I would die or die trying for any one of them. Grandma2, I bought candy at Sam's and stashed it for the grands knowing they don't let them have candy. Some of them eat so healthy they would turn it down anyway. One of my sons who is also self employed has coffee here a lot of mornings. He brought his 4 year old with him the other day. She was sitting in a dining chair and I looked down at her little face and had the strangest feeling. I was overwhelmed at the thoughts of her getting bf. I didn't say anything but decided then to order more small masks. Good luck to all |

I decided that when I do give supplies and food to family or friends that they will be picking it up from the front porch after I have left it out there and it will have to be disguised like in a tote bag or backpack, in a sealed box or something other than grocery sacks, so people won't be seeing them getting food, maybe even after dark. No one is coming into the house and I will not be delivering anything since that would increase the chances of getting sick ourselves.
