Hey everybody.
In the interest of not having to track down piece by piece all the best wisdom on all aspects of being prepared, is anyone aware of a good book, or list of books, that cover all the bases? I've been reading all this for months, but I have not taken the needed step of printing out and organizing a lot of the information that I am going to want in the event of panflu or whatever major disaster. Top ten titles in the preppers library, or something like that. I recently took 365 pounds of getting old preps to the food shelf, and while resupplying this time I want to get more organized than just the food stash and some other basics. Thanks! |

I just set up an Excell Spread Sheet. I put the general Catagory: Fats, Beans, Flour, Vegi, etc. then Best By Date and /or Purchase Date, item, number of items, size of item, total items and then location of item. I have a computer and the Excell so it did not cost me anything. I then make a print copy and as I take items out or add items I do it on the print copy and once a month I update the computer and print another hard copy. There are many books on how to prep but I believe all the infor on the net gives me enough to make my "needs" list from. Hope this helps |
