Haven't been around for a while - but now with the new flu of course I am back (as are many members I am sure).
Just found this - says they are going to stop testing in NYC for mild cases. I guess they want to keep everyone calm by keeping the numbers low? Just heard on CNN that they said labs would be overwhelmed if they tested everyone.

This jibes with another post made here recently saying only 7 people are confirmed dead from this bug..
I normaly don't do this .... But this is stinking to high heaven...The wording in interesting.. particularly this part.. "labs would be overwhelmed if they tested everyone" That would sugest to me that they know the numbers are much much higher then the official reported numbers and are trying to do damage control for the economy. They are taking a huge risk here and hoping that only a few deaths happen.. In the long run we will know the truth .. They can only hide the truth from the world for a finite period of time. I just hope they are right and this bug stays "MILD" |

Mild could be a very bad word, what if this flu takes longer to incubate before the more severe symptoms are visible and felt. Not two weeks but two month slowly weakening the body before sudden collapse. It just don’t add up that this thing have been around for just a month and already all over the world
