Don't know if this has ever been posted before.  Sorry if this is a repeat.

Here's a website to find a place in your state that sells salvage groceries.  Could be good for stocking up with little money spent.

Darn. None near me, but there used to be a similar store, my dad went to, when I was growing up. I don't think it exists anymore. This is a wonderful idea, though!!!!!!

I use a lot of coupons, so I get excess that way. There is also Aldi's. They have generic brand, and some name brand foods for cheap. Their brand is really good, and I have shopped there, myself, for 20 years.
http://www.aldi.com to find a store near you. They are located in the U.S., as well as many different countries, worldwide.

A similar store is Save-a-lot, and you can find one of those at http://www.save-a-lot.com
