Glad to help others... but it will be taxing.

Remember... along with the high premiums... the middle class is being asked to pay for "children to age 26"  The federal health care overhaul would allow dependent children up to age 26 to be eligible for coverage under their parents' insurance.

Health care law's unfinished business: cost curbs
.....................................................................................

Ricardo Alonso-Zaldivar
Associated Press Writer
On Sunday April 25, 2010, 8:32 pm

...Insurance premiums are likely to keep going up over the next few years. Experts predict

that the law's early benefits -- such as expanded coverage for children and young adults --

could nudge rates a little higher than would otherwise have been the case. Also, insurers

and medical providers could try to raise their prices ahead of big shifts set for 2014.

Remember in 2014... You need to have Health Care Insurance..

Or face a penalty,  like    2.5% of income...

and

Beginning in 2018, there will be a new tax on employer-provided, high-end health plans that offer generous benefits

and toss in a little age discrimination...

The thresholds, which are scheduled to increase annually at the rate of inflation, will be

higher for workers over 55

All we have are 'promises' on anything meaninful... and

a sure thing -     on high Health Care Premiums and Fines.

(How does paying for all these extra people help the middle class,
afford health Care premiums or be fined? )

...extending coverage for dependents through age 26,

(New York State already passed a law that Ins. Co's can't say
no to pre existing conditions. States Gov's need to get together on that. )

....implementing high-risk pools for Americans with pre-existing conditions

(Where is this clearly spelled out?  All we hear is - Cuts to Medicare )
................

.....and supplementing insurance for early retirees.

Congressional Budget Office estimates released Tuesday predict
the health care overhaul will likely cost about $115 billion more in
discretionary spending over ten years than the original cost projections.

Health-care rules may force some to change coverage,
leaked document suggests

President Obama said repeatedly during the health-care debate
that people who like their current coverage would be able to keep it.
But an early draft of an administration regulation estimates that many
employers will be forced to change their health plans under the new law.
