It's definitely spreading.

'Swine flu' cases spiking in St. Louis area

ST. LOUIS – A nasty flu bug is hitting the St. Louis area.

It's the 2009 H1N1 flu strain, more commonly known as "swine flu." The World Health Organization classified swine flu as a pandemic in 2009.

So far, the St. Louis County Department of Health says it hasn't seen outrageous numbers, but cases are spiking.

This year's flu vaccine does include the 2009 H1N1 virus strain, and health officials are urging everyone 6-months-old and older to get a flu shot.

Flu vaccines are still available. Visit the St. Louis County Department of Health's website to find a nearby location.

On another note, there is probably about to be an explosion of cases after Christmas with all of the holiday travel.   Probably an enormous one in all states.   Get ready.

A local restaurant owner aged 56, male, in my northern California hometown died suddenly after coming down with sudden pneumonia, they are currently unaware if it was a flu complication or not.
Be prepared! It may be time....^_^v
