The H7N9 virus is mutating and ready to strike the world - almost.

Ebola is an advertisement for the Influenza Pandemic.

Influenza A(H7N9) isolates from a second wave of the 2013-2014 epidemic in China were genetically different than those in the first wave, ...

Thank-you, Kilt.

I think many are coming to grips with the possibility that Ebola is airborne. The jury is still out officially on that. And, I don't know the answer to that mystery.

We know 'almost' absolutely for sure H7N9 is airborne.

Flu is droplet.

But asymptomatic shedding of the virus is when it infects other people.

People in American Samoa declared quarantine and no ships or people could land but they let in the mail and people licked stamps and envelopes and the virus spread when they read the mail.

Ebola only infects when people show sickness.

It will stop after its burnt itself out in Africa.

All people from Africa should be quarantined for 3 weeks before they can carry on as usual.

Ebola is only a problem in tin pot over crowded third world countries.

The rest of us know how to handle Ebola and don't attack health workers for picking up bodies.

Its a mess - and getting worse - but I refuse to believe it will bother the rest of us in first world countries.

Flu on the other hand - we cannot control at all.

The H7N9 virus is rapidly mutating and that is what we have to worry about - not Ebola.

You are right, Kilt.

Thank-you for the correction.

Flu is droplet.

What I mean't to say is : Flu is transmissible by ' airborne droplet '.

Right as rain, thank's again.

Ebola is like SARS

No symptoms no shedding and infecting others.

The trouble with Flu is you can have a bad virus and be fit and healthy and shed the virus like a fire hose and infect hundreds of other people - when you feel great.

That is the difference and thats why Ebola will be stopped.

Thanks, Kilt!  I got my seasonal flu shot today, I hope all on AFT do the same!

Keep your eyes open for MERS stories, that seems to be coming back.  Also, we wonder if H7N9 will reappear?

Be safe!
