Went to the home show and saw new security screens. Great product for a patio door. I have security film on all my windows, patio door and a front door security door but this locking security door for my sliding screen door is just what I need to secure the door and have fresh air.

You guys know me I am always looking to secure my home!   Check this product out.

Do you have a link FluMom?

The nicest security screens I have ever seen are in Spain and Morocco. They are wrought iron and are beautiful. They are fixed straight into the masonry.

Locking security screens are big business in Australia, where it is considerably hotter than us in New Zealand. My sister has combined security / fly screens on all her doors and windows. They work really well.

Those who got it wrong, for whatever reason, may feel defensive and retrench into a position that doesn’t accord with the facts.

The company I talked with is in Colorado Springs but as usual I Googled Security Screens and there were several companies. From what I read Europe has lots of these screens. They have some that go on your windows also that you can open from the inside in case of a fire.

I have two "picture" windows on my first floor that have no screens that is why I went with the 3M film. I want the screen door so I can open the door in the summer and not worry someone can get in.

Google and look at the different security screens. The one I saw I am sorry do not know which one it is but it looks nice and from the demo a sledge hammer did not budge it and a sharp box cutter could not cut it.

Hope you find one that suits your needs.
