Don't be surprised if this virus has some unhappy recurring syndrome associated with it on down the line. Maybe years later. Spanish Influenza had Encephalitis Lethargica. Polio had Post-Polio Syndrome. Chickenpox has Shingles. It's a hallmark of some viruses. |

2 other coronaviruses have been shown to be detected in CNS after infection. One is associated with MS. See below. Quote : Apart from a respiratory infection, 229E and OC43 were suspected to infect the central nervous system (CNS) as mRNA and CoV-like particles were detected in CNS samples of patients with multiple sclerosis.
