Belarus' government ordered millions of people to participate in a traditional day of mass community action on Saturday, despite the country's rising coronavirus infection rates.

A total of 2.3 million people took part in the state-ordered mass painting, tree-planting and general clean-ups — around a quarter of the Eastern European country's population.

Latest official figures show 9,590 coronavirus cases and 67 deaths in the country. On Saturday, Belarus reported 817 new virus cases, the country's highest single-day increase.

The country's president said he had no choice but to hold the parade where children and military veterans crammed in.

I Am never surprised at the Lack of education on viruses,

Most people have laughed at me when i have  spoken about a pandemic,

When this started I was laughed at work when I said "super spreader"

I said to the person the other Day

"You not laughing now are you"!!!!!!!....

Mass ignorance.......

Not the "slate wiper"

But causing more and more disruption, and it won't get any better for a good while yet....

Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.🖖

The Belarus President has claimed the best cure for this virus is a Sauna and Vodka.    It is also a political snub to the big brother, where Putin cancelled most of the large scale events.

It probably will not work, but the people would die happy if they could follow that advice.

Belarus President...Can't Fix Stupid!

Now that being said I am for opening the States as soon as we can some now,   Old people or people with problems should stay home if they can!   But if you have to go to work because you HAVE to pay the bills take as many precautions as you can to avoid getting the virus.  Life can be very hard sometimes.

And what if they can't stay home?  What about the small percentage (for now) of children getting Kawasaki-type syndrome?  What about the adult with family members home who have comorbidities?  Look, I'm with you.  I get it.  People need to work. But the States could do more to protect their population, their homes and their food security.  But it's not happening because the Feds are more interested in bailing out their donor corporations to the tune of Trillions rather than invest in "We The People".  The Feds are loaning Trillions to banks right now.   Sure, the key word is "loan".  But these banks are not reinvesting.  They're just boosting their balance sheets.

A civilized government would care for them - no matter what.  I agree Witchy.  Now is the time to REALLY find out how great America is; whether it is a strong caring country, or just a big bully who puts money before people.

I know which way I think it will go, The UK government is on course to be a bully (Scotland however has passed the test - just!) and I expect America to fail alongside its senile old Mother (England).

How do you tell if a politician is lying?
His lips or pen are moving.
