Question - how can citizens hold States/Gov accountable in reporting correct data ....daily so that we can make informed decisions? What are “our rights to know”? Contact the senators and congress persons for your state, and get your friends to contact them as well.  With elections coming up they need to be seen to be responding to public opinion.
