Just raising awareness for those who raise rabbits for meat, or plan too...

https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/veterinary-science-and-veterinary-medicine/rabbit-haemorrhagic-disease this article mentions eradicated in US - that's version 1 (I think) as 2 is circulating now

https://www.washingtonpost.com/science/2020/05/18/virus-rabbits-die-off/

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabbit_hemorrhagic_disease

Asymptomatic carriers, transfer via flies & fleas/parasites, shoes/clothing, difficulty for chemical disactivation, survivors being contagious for months after recovery, 70-100% fatality, forced  depopulation of all where outbreak occurs etc... looks like it's going to be a rough ride for rabbits (pet and meat) as this spread.

If it's to be - it's up to me!
