I've been talking to some of my relatives in the UK about this and all of them except one, is delighted about it. The one who isn't delighted is clinically vulnerable, but the others, ranging up to 80 years of age, are delighted and think it's about time. I guess Covid fatigue set in a long time ago and now they are all itching to get back to normal and start booking overseas holidays again.

Those who got it wrong, for whatever reason, may feel defensive and retrench into a position that doesn’t accord with the facts.
