Some things in that article are similar to what people said pre 9/11.  We all unfortunately know now how usefull that kind of thinking is.

Better to be safe than sorry....

Adel Yafai, an employee at Delancey Live Poultry, said customers have asked about the bird flu but "they have nothing to fear. In America we have a lot more precautions than in other countries."

New York city has over 90 wet poultry markets. One right across from an High School.
