Sam and Jhetta -
I did grind pinto beans and seasoned the mix for prep later as refried beans. The recipe I found requires that it be mixed with water and/or fats and cooked before using though. It's not instant. Shouldn't this be safe since you still have to cook it for awhile before serving? |

The problems is caused by the protein lectin in beans... I will see what I can find out about cooking times/temperature needed to destroy it.
