Star This website is a great resource. The fatality rate of the flu may be greater than 27%. The flu spreading from Saudi Arabia has a 50% fatality rate (CDC report of last week). I believe that these two will "converge".  I was just in Las Vegas, and the Chinese tourists in the airport had masks. During November I was in NYC, and I saw the same on 5th Avenue near the southern entrance to Central Park. I purchased masks last week.  I am instructing those in my family to use them when they travel on any plane. I do not believe that the statistics are accurate. This is the same for news reports out of China, which are stating that hospital personnel have codes to warn others.
