I see people voted, but still don't know who they are. So much for the 'fessin up part..

I just turned 37, and even if I wasn't I still would've voted the 30-49 group, 'cause I like the still looking pretty young part..

Based on similar surveys from other sites, it appears the large majority of BF preppers are in the 40-60 age groups.

Mom celebrated 83 just a few weeks ago.

She was born just after the 1918 pandemic...but all of her aunts and uncles went through it

I have been married for 37 years but I tell everyone it was an arranged marriage when I was 10 - Lets see, I have two beautiful grandchildren, haven't been able to come up with anything that explains that.  OK Ok  I'm 57 but my daughter bought me a Hooters tank top this year so that kind of explains how young my spirit is!!WinkWink (of course I haven't worn it yet)

I'm 40 and feel like I'm 80. (I blame the crazy hormones, LOL!) Hubby will be 41 on Saturday. It's interesting that us preppers are predominantly "middle aged." Although I'd hardly call 30 middle-aged. :-)

I'm at that "awkward age", too old to Rock & Roll, too young to die - 54 big ones.  My daughters are 7 and 2 years old, they won't let me age gracefully.  Damn kids.

I am 39, but my wife says I don't act like it most of the time!  Ha!  I will always be a kid at heart!

I'm 35.  Sometimes I feel much older.  Sometimes I drive up to the drive-through window and am shocked to find  that the people working there are no longer in my age group.

Well I am 43 and my husband is 52.  I have a step son that is 33, one daughter, 18 and a son who is 12.  Grandchild are 5, 1 and 8 months old.  We have a wide age range between our kids and that keeps us young.  I love having grandchildren.  Grandchildren are the reward we get for putting up with the teenager years.

I was at the county fair the other night and was watching my 8 month old grandson and several peple thought that this little guy was my baby.  That made this old gal feel a little bit better.

My grandmother would have never been mistaken for my mother, so that helped me deal with the fact I am old enough to be a "granny" but still look young enough to pass for "mom".

My class reunion is coming up.  I hate to go to those things, because everyone there is my age and they all look so darn old!!  I can't be that old yet!!   I just graduated.....hum.....25 years ago...........no way that can't be right!!  It seems like just a few years ago I was cruising town with my friend and having the time of my life.  Man how fast time flies when you are having fun.

As for me and my house, we shall trust the Lord.

O.K.  I guess I'm the old gal here. I'm 73 and my husband is 83. But that doesn't mean that we want to get hit with any ole bird flu. My uncle died of it in 1918 and he was only 36. We started prepping last month.

Yes,  rocks are MUCH older than 56!
Newprepper you are still young too.  Everything is relative.         Aging Woman

FYI,  my grandmother, who lives with me, reads through AFT logged on as my id.  She doesn't post because that's overwhelming to her.  I'll try to talk her in to getting her own id so she can take the poll.  She's 92, doesn't take any medication, and walks to church everyday.  What a woman!  Hmmm .... she might take offense to the label: 90-100 I’m a cane totin’ old fart, can’t remember my age..

She was born in 1914 and does not remember any details about the flu, but she lived in rural Iowa then and her family of 12 survived.
