I'm curious - I have 2 Facebook friends who have had Covid. Neither one of them went public about it. Both told me privately because they know I've been following it closely.

I have a 3rd Facebook friend whose whole family had it, and he only told people after the fact. Right before they all went to Disney World. <headpalm>

A close friend whose Mom died from it is the exception - she made it public within a few days of finding out, and has been a vocal advocate for masks/protection/etc ever since.

Just wondering what you all are seeing... are people being public about it, or 'hiding' it?

Would you tell people if you got it?  Other than here I mean.

In my Local Mom's facebook group, some of the mother's are open about their family and themselves  having it and/or their kids having it. I thought that was a brave move to be honest. Not sure I would post it on facebook myself if I did.
I do have friends that are constantly "getting sick" and posting that they think they have it - then get a test and all is fine. I wonder if they like the attention or if they are just scared...probably both.

We know of some families keeping their kids tests secret so their kiddo can play sports still.  Waiting for a whistleblower to tell the school because its rediiculous!
