Well said Cruiser. I've been "excited in this process" for a while now, but threads like this make me so thankful (and even less excited) that I've found "real people and not professional reporters".

mieke: at this point that would be too self serving. There are more helpful ways to spend my time and effort to serve the community here. Perhaps at another time.

A lot of civil unrest has been going on there for a while now and the Maoist rebels must be acting up again - probably a bit upset with the attention the bird flu has been bringing to their hideout areas. There must be a lot of gringos ripe for the picking while site seeing and bird flu hunting in the area...Read on...

Did receive contact from the photojournalist who continues to be active throughout the world. This incident, as we have tracked it from the beginning is not resolved. Although it disappeared from the blip on the Airport biohazard screen, I have continued to contact individuals in this area and one should not let the Maoist social unrest mask the investigation of the incident.
The person I spoke to may return to the area as things are heating up there with the increased focus on an area which is already in terror over Avian infection and danger. Thousands of birds have died in nearby areas and looking at this from a medical persepective, no doubt more deaths are continuing.
The focus of this incident which I first caught from a user posting and suggested he begin the thread, is how it has still not hit the true main stream media.
I would assume that the local authorities are already extremely aware of the hospital records of the patients who died from this outbreak as well as the spread of a wide spectrum of diseases in the area.
