OT: "ATTACK IMMINENT" Nuclear Threat

Yea we have alot of missiles and nuclear tactical...whatever. But war is like chess. If you are careful and place your "men" in the right places you WILL win. If America was attacked in the "right places";it could literally bring us down.On all levels! So it is NOT a matter of how much you have.It is a matter of using what you have and strategical placement of what you have; that can cause you to gain victory.They claim to have enough to bring us down. Why would anyone think this is a hoax? Were we prepared for what happened on 911? I sure as heck wasn't!!!! Are you prepared for nuclear war? Because,we will not be the only ones affected! It will affect everyone on this planet.From way too many stand points to think about. Food & water for one.Radiation for two.ETC...... I don't think this is a hoax. I think that 911 proves these people don't play by anyone's rules! They have also proven, beyond a doubt,they care nothing for human life! Including their own.

The individual who merits the distinction of the "America's most dangerous" fugitive is Adnan el-Shukrijumah, a diminutive, 30-year-old terrorist who stands at 5-foot-4 and weighs 140 pounds.
El-Shukrijumah represents the perfect "sleeper agent," since he speaks English without the slightest hint of an accent and possesses the uncanny abilities to blend into a crowd, to alter his looks, and to assume a multitude of identities. He is the proverbial Mr. Cellophane. Nothing about el-Shukrijumah indicates his radical Islamic orientation. He remains clean-shaven and never wears a long shirt or chews a toothpick. He has been known to have a beer on occasion (like an average American Joe), to smoke an occasional Camel and even to carry rosary beads in his pocket.
Adnan el Shukrijumah, a trained nuclear technician and accomplished pilot, has been singled out by bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri to serve as the field commander for the next terrorist attack on U.S. soil, a nuclear event that is known among al-Qaida planners as "the American Hiroshima."
The terrorist was last seen in Mexico, where, on Nov. 1, 2004, he allegedly created by me to make a point a Piper PA Pawnee cropduster from Ejido Queretaro near Mexacli to transport a nuclear weapon and nuclear equipment into the U.S. The plane's tail number was XBCYP.
In 1995, the Shukrijumah family relocated to Miramar, Fla., where Gulshair became the spiritual leader of the radical Masjid al-Hijah Mosque, and where Adnan became friends with Jose Padilla, who planned to detonate a radiological bomb in midtown Manhattan; Mandhai Jokhan, who was convicted of attempting to blow up nuclear power plants in southern Florida; and a group of other home-grown terrorists.
A NUCLEAR MISSION IN CANADA
Following the success of 9-11, el-Shukrijumah became singled out by bin Laden and al-Zawahiri to spearhead the next great attack on America – a nuclear attack that would take place simultaneously in seven U.S. cities, leaving millions dead and the richest and most powerful nation on earth in ashes.
To prepare for this mission, el-Shukrijumah, along with fellow al-Qaida sleeper agents Anas al-Liby, Jaber A. Elbaneh, and Amer el-Matti, was sent to McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, a facility that boasted a five-megawatt nuclear research reactor, the largest reactor of any educational facility in Canada.
At McMaster, where they may have enrolled under aliases, el-Shukrijumah and his associates reportedly wasted no time in gaining access to the nuclear reactor and stealing more than 180 pounds of nuclear waste for the creation of radiological bombs.
Jane Johnson, a spokesperson for McMaster University, declined to comment on the stay of the al-Qaida operatives at the school. She insisted that such information was confidential.

I for one appreciate MedC's posts and I don't find him pompous, to each his own. The dengue is relevant because many cases of H5 may/are probably being misdiagnosed as dengue. We may actually see an even larger surge of cases diagnosed as dengue as our first indication of pan flu strain.

I just read this on yahoo recently like today and wasn't sure how to post this. So here is part of the article. Al Qaida in Iraq and its allies warned Pope Benedict XVI on Monday that he  and the west were "doomed" and proclaimed that the holy war would continue until Islam dominates the world.

I think that the threat of terrorism is huge. We do have OT subjects. One I read the other day, about rumblings about drinking coffee and coal mines, and coal barons homes, and sitting talking at colleges stuff like that was the most different of all, it was like a page out of someones personal journal.  I guess if one poster can do that, then another should be able to post on terrorism. Since the end of the war in Lebanon, I have not gone much to the terrorism website. I also recieved this very post today, from Worldnetdaily. So, I think the report is out there. We have speculated many times about why things with the BF are allowed to be in the news, and is the government trying to let us know or tell us something, well you never know. Maybe we all should be watching the terrorism website more, while we wait for a bird flu that may never come, we may have a even worse crisis in our future.

Of course we are trusting the interp.

Bizzare stuff at an early age. and we wonder how they can be a suicide bomber.

I think it is a great article, but why wasn't this posted in the Off Topic section? There are similar subjects there.

I think the video is legit. This type of education for children in schools has been documented by the mainstream media all over the arab middle east. This is nothing new.

I think the film is legit for the simple reason that this is not the first like this. I have seen similar from Pakistan & from Hamas. This would lend itself to the question ofhow do they get their people to commit cuicide as if they them selves are the weapon knowing full well they are ending their life.

I don't see how that necessarily means anything.  It might just mean that the illegals know they might have to travel through areas where nuclear weapons were tested in order to successfully sneak into the country.

 What Would We Do In Case Of A Nuclear Attack?

I have a question about shelters if anyone can answer. After reading the very interesting articles above regarding makeshift shelters in the basement- We have a "music room" in our basement which has 3 walls underground but of course a door to get into it. How do you get adequate air supply if you duct tape around the door once you are inside? Anyone know the answer to this?

Birdlady, nothing personal, but you and many others here need to spend a little time doing some basic research in nuclear warfare and less with posts that display your complete lack of knowledge. Too many individuals here post hundreds of posts that do little except take up bandwidth. Yes I expect to get flames over speaking the truth, but please everone; limit your posts to expanding everyones knowledge on a subject rather than displaying your complete lack of knowledge.
