We might as well post any news of interest....

 

Anyone hear any of George Tenet's interviews regarding his book?  The White House is using Tenet as their excuse for going to war with Iraq.  The CIA and the White House have been at odds for awhile now.  Bush and Cheney have now leaked out info twice about Tenet and his operatives    I was personally quite impressed with Tenet.

Although he was honest, he still seemed to holdback in a couple of areas, which also showed his loyalty.  I personally like the guy because he doesn't take crapola from anyone.   When Bush and Cheney leaked out  information regarding Plame's identity (you can read it here), Tenet fully backed them until they won their case.  And the most recent event of course being that the White House now leaked all new information claiming that Tenet is solely responsible for us going to war with Iraq.  Now Tenet tells it all in a book.  Funny little saga ..

George Tenet also stated that he believes that alqaeda is still here in this country and planning a much larger attack than 911..This does not surprise me one bit.I dont want to be a pessimist,but I think it's only a matter of time before tshtf. BF or whatever..God Bless

I initially liked what I heard as he spoke on BookTV and other shows. Seemed pretty blunt and matter-of-fact. Then he was asked about Bush's "a mushroom cloud" speech, and he defended him. Woah-nelly. He's taking a 180 from interviews just 2 days earlier. D
