I thought the ones who leave have to spend another 14 days in Q elsewhere? I got the impression from one article I read that the one couple is staying on board because their Q ends in '2 days' and if they leave they have to spend another 14 in Q...??? I think everyone should have to come off ship and do 14 but then I'm a bit of a 'draconian/fatalist' I've been told!

Actually I think Q should be 30 days but hey who am I?!?!

I dunno. I think the US should have evacuated them from the start like they did the folks in Wuhan. Feels kind if icky that we just watched them like Guinea pigs in a lab. With the continual infections and lack of testing, it just seems like a moral test that we failed.

Agreed, a few of us on here said to 'bring them home' - not fair to them, not fair to Japan, just 'not right' all the way around. Just reading interview re: ship where the British couple are saying that "they feel like trash that their country doesn't want to take them back" - it also said he's been told they "may have to stay up to another 8 weeks"... not sure if that came from an official source or just rumours on board but I think it's time the government steps up and helps their people and quit dumping the workload on Japan!
