You DO NOT BREAK the law in Singapore.  It is a rule driven country and if you do not follow the law you do so at your own peril!!!

Have you ever been to Singapore ?

Yes, visiting and passing through as a child, and one holiday visit about 30 years ago, so no recent visit.

I have never been but I have watched several documentaries on Singapore and they all talked about how strict the laws were enforced.  Years ago they would use a stick whip to carry out punishments but this was years ago do not know if they still do this.  I also saw a travel log that said to obey all laws that punishments were harsh if you were arrested and to know the law to not get into trouble.

It's one of the safest places on earth to live and visit......
