Confirmed: On-Duty Atlanta Police Officers Are Walking Off JobAtlanta, GA – The Police Tribune has confirmed with International Brotherhood of Police Southeast Regional Director Vince Champion that Atlanta police officers are walking off the job Wednesday night. Rumors started almost immediately after Howard’s press conference ended that officers were walking off of the job. The department’s scanner activity was silent throughout much of the city as the rumors continued in law enforcement circles and right-wing Twitter. |

If you shoot someone in the back, you should at least be charged with murder. Everything else from then on is up to the courts, but the charges are correct. Interesting question, "Are a percentage of police bullies" Training for police here is very rigorous, 6 months from when you join the academy, And before that there's is alot of selection criteria that you have to do before you even get to the academy, https://www.stepforward.wa.gov.au/join-wa-police/recruit/selection-process/#stage1 - https://www.stepforward.wa.gov.au/join-wa-police/recruit/selection-process/#stage1 This involves psychometric testing, all designed to weed out those people who are "BULLIES" I believe that training in the usa is only 3 months I stand to be corrected, I might add my daughter is an educator in criminology......and is heavily involved with the police here........ As well as that I have a work colleague who is just going through the selection process, If he gets in I'll be amazed, As he is a white racist expat South African,whos views Are disgusting when it comes to black people.....(so we will see if selection works) I also work with an expat South African,(man of colour)who was in the front line fighting apartheid, So work can be interesting......lol ------------- Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. That's a scary situation in Atlanta! I used to live in Marietta a suburb and right now I'd be staying out of ATL. As far as police being bullies? I work in the domestic violence field and I know they are not any different from the rest of the population in the fact that they abuse their wives and girlfriends. |
