Looks like Putin is doing damage control ahead of Biden's predicted win. "Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Sunday that he saw nothing criminal in Hunter Biden’s past business ties with Ukraine or Russia, marking out his disagreement with one of Donald Trump’s attack lines in the U.S. presidential election. " |

I confess, I don't understand this. I have a daughter. Luckily for me, she is a lovely person, honest, caring, kind. She is law abiding and intelligent too. But if I was unlucky enough to have a child who went off of the rails, how would that be automatically my fault? Whatever my kids do is their business - after they turn 21 that is. Whatever my husband does is his business. Again, I am lucky there, but if I were not, that would not be my fault. I nit pick at what Trump does and says. Melania, His EX wives and his children should be no reflection on him. I nit-picked HIlary Clinton, but not for Chelsea's actions or Bill's. She stupidly deleted those emails, but what her Husband did with Monica was private. Joe Biden is an honest man (as far as I can tell) a caring man (again - as far as I can tell) a rather boring man (IMHO), lacking the charisma of Obama, Bush or Clinton. He has done things I approve of, things I despise and also failed to do things equally great or nasty. Hold him to account for his actions. Not those of his kids. Once they stand alone as an adult, they are responsible for their own actions. You can blame me for the behaviour of my dogs - I trained them. You can blame me for the behaviour of my cats - I failed to train them. But Human beings understand their own actions and their consequences; they have free will and sentience. Don't feel bad, Technophobe. Not many do. Some here believe this was supposed to be Trump's "October surprise" designed to make people doubt Biden's capability to run the country at the last minute. It fell flat. Unless you're the "sins of the father" type of X-tian (fake christian who fails to carry the spirit of Jesus in their souls), everyone knows you can't control your adult children. What I found most interesting about Putin's comment is that he knows he's going to have to deal with a Biden presidency, and I'm sure that's something he's not looking forward to. And it would be the only reason he would "help" Trump again. |
