Hong Kong suspended use of the vaccine created by Pfizer and BioNTech Wednesday after its Chinese distributor informed the city that one batch had defective bottle lids.

The city’s government said the suspension was immediate while the matter is investigated by vaccine distributor Fosun Pharma and BioNTech, the German company that created the vaccine with American pharmaceutical firm Pfizer.

I'm guessing  this is pushback from the Chinese, for the West imposing sanctions,for the mistreatment  of the uighers, 

I do find it odd that no Muslim countries  have said a word about this,why for instance  do not the Saudis and Iraq   halt oil shipments??why the silence  from Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan.......

Both Turkey and the CIA have been involved in using Uyghur-jihadi's in most the Syria war. But most likely also in nearby Afghanistan (that did see Chinese military in the east of Afghanistan) China borders Afghanistan. Proberbly may be involved in Kashmir conflict (mainly between India and Pakistan with China as #3)

It is very likely China/Bejing did go for "very strict controls" and enforcing teaching Manderin/Chinese. Just like in Iran the CIA/NATO "does support dissident groups" very likely some militant Uyghurs get western training not only for the Syria or Afghanistan war but also for actions in China itself.

Propaganda is also a western embedded media tool. 

Another aspect is Saudi Arabia close to genocide of its own Shia-Muslim minority , Indonesia facing different groups fighting for their own state-both countries also involved in IS like groups (or the fight against them)...A lot of "western partners" are even less democratic then countries like Syria or Iraq under Saddam Hussain..They rather learn/copy repression strategies from China...
