If the Mexican virus gets contagious - mutates with the Brazil virus - and that can happen - we have a serious Pandemic on our hands.

As of 16 March, there have been 2,169,007 confirmed cumulative cases and 195,119 deaths in total. 3,794,719 people have been given the first dose of vaccine.

On March 28 a report was issued showing 294,287 COVID-19-related deaths by March 15, 61.4% higher than previously reported. The number of excess deaths is said to be 417,002

DJ The Mexico high number of deaths seems to be the outcome of mismanagement.

One cause of the CFR being high in a country is if they only test seriously ill people for the coronavirus.

Mexico is currently at  51.901 tests / million,  Brazil which also is low on testing has a rate four times higher (219,010).  For high figures one needs to go to Denmark where on average every citizen has been tested 7 times (USA is at 1.3 tests per person).

Lack of testing, is also part of what Josh mentioned as 'mismanagement'.
