This article from the UK states that most of the Covid cases in hospital have been admitted for something other than Covid, and are testing positive on admittance. I think in relation to Covid the terms "with' and "from" and the unequivocal differences between them have largely been ignored throughout the pandemic as they relate to hospitalizations and deaths. 301 more patients admitted to London hospitals with Covid. That's 78% more than 7 days ago. And 75%+ of these hospitalisations are primarily due to Covid. The England weekly average is currently 72% |
