I guess i am being ignored. If you get Omicron like i did this week you are going to want a supply of lozenges with lidocaine. That is why there is a shortage in the stores

I've got a whole load of old boxes of throat lozenges, but the ones i was recommended to get have zinc in them. But they don't taste nice, so that's the payoff. As for TV, I'd watch anything that makes you laugh. Dust off some of the old comedies. When I'm sick I want non challenging, easy viewing that make me happy.

Read a post yesterday that someone drinks the juice from pineapple (right from the can) for the sore throat....guess it works a miracle.

Try some honey and a bit of juice ( apple ) and plenty of water.  We have zinc pills and lots of cough pills.  We have a friend who is a ear. nose and throat specialist.  He gave Vicki his home cell number and some pretty strong anti virals to kick anything that comes our way.  We also have friends who swear by gatorade.  Drink lots of water and eat fruit like watermelon and oranges.  It's a big concern for some people who have been ventilated.  So, drink water and take your meds.

Mouthwash.  2 types have been shown in lab trials to halt SarsCoV2  from replicating.  (See link or google)  Maybe especially relevant with omicron since upper airways seem more affected.  If you gargle strongly with it it, I.e. let it bubble in your mouth, it kind of aerosols  so it works up into back of nose also.

Some people use it before and after coming back from shops, and some before after masking.

My boy was using it a lot when he was infected also, seemed to help.

Thank you for all the greatest ideals  i tried all of them!  The best was honey and tea. It lasted the longest. Otherwise just had to tough it out. It stayed all upper respiratory for 4 days then cleared quickly  from top of head to bottom of throat
