Any idea when FDA wlll lift the EAU use of vaccines in <=15?  It still isn’t fully approved.  I don’t understand why the hold up with full approval - and then  how they authorize a Booster of all things only 6 months after, the overuse without cause seems negligent, wasteful maybe even criminal.  Is that dramatic?  

It's my understanding that all vaccines have to complete safety protocols and these Covid vaccines can't have their emergency use lifted and be fully approved until enough time has passed to assess medium and long term safety data. All vaccines to date have taken about 7 years to collect that data, and obviously these covid vaccines have only been around for 15 months or so. 

As yet, no one knows if there will be any long term health implications from taking them. I know people argue that it's been given to millions of people, and it has, but until time has passed, the quantity given out is irrelevant. Hopefully all will be well with that data, but until it's in, no one knows.
