Pure Blood = Dead Meat

Apparently, some individuals who refuse vaccination are referring to themselves as "Pure Bloods". Amazon even sells T-shirts so that Purebloods can declare their status. I believe these people may not be long for this world.


It is true that most people who are infected with SARS-CoV-2 will not immediately die after infection. It has been very hard to get firm numbers on the actual percentage who do die, but it is probably about 1 - 2%, depending on age and other health-related factors. This does not take into account likely shortened life expectancy due to long Covid. But, in any case, many people who refuse vaccination will get Covid, survive it, and smugly declare that they are better off with natural immunity. I think they are wrong about this, but that is not why I say they are dead meat.

Omicron is not likely to be the last variant of SARS-CoV-2 that we encounter. Newer variants may be more lethal. There will almost certainly be pandemics caused by other viruses that will be more lethal than SARS-CoV-2.

Many proud "Purebloods" will likely refuse vaccines for these new viruses saying that they won't be "controlled". They will adopt alternative remedies promoted by greedy and/or mentally unstable people with claimed connections to health care. And then, they will die.
