There is going to be food shortages because of Russia and China.

Not just because of Russia and China but here in the United States in the western states that have a severe drought produce alot of fruits and vegetables, the Midwest has a hay shortage to feed cattle, produce wheat, etc. Now with Florida and the hurricane, how much fruit has been destroyed. The coffee shortage from the drought in South America. It goes on and on.....

I haven't been able to buy kitchen paper towels on a roll for over  a month. There just aren't any on the shelves. The price of stuff is also going up weekly.

I also heard tomatoes are in trouble and i am a huge ketchup person...so shopping I will go soon for a stockpile of that!  haha

We love ketchup too and I've just found it's available in a tin. Normally I buy the refill pouches but have just seen the tins made by the same company. They are much more economical and much easier to stack and store, so I've been stocking up on them.

We have found local shortages of chicken and pasta products.  We are going to SAM's club soon to buy more canned chicken and beef.  Got more ammo for the mauser and the 9mm.  Got a generator ( solar). We have a berkey water system now. 

I am working at the local college online and Vicki is working on a book.
