Did military used for collecting death H5N1 infected birds in Chile result in high number of human H5N1 cases ? Did H5N1 start spreading in humans in Chile ? (With also testing vaccines, medical interventions-the outbreak as a test case for how to deal with more human cases ?) DJ--more info needed....TMN also reported "lots of human H5N1 cases in SE Asia..." only two cases in Cambodia -father and daughter- now are seen as the only (proven) cases... They would both have a different clade of H5N1 then (most) birds in the area...so maybe a mammal source did infect them ? (Dog, cat ? maybe even a-symptomatic ?)
