Don't know if this has ever been posted before. Sorry if this is a repeat.
Here's a website to find a place in your state that sells salvage groceries. Could be good for stocking up with little money spent.

Darn. None near me, but there used to be a similar store, my dad went to, when I was growing up. I don't think it exists anymore. This is a wonderful idea, though!!!!!!
I use a lot of coupons, so I get excess that way. There is also Aldi's. They have generic brand, and some name brand foods for cheap. Their brand is really good, and I have shopped there, myself, for 20 years.
