So this month my priority is going to be on growing vegetables. I've been putting in new garden beds and so am ready to plant up. I've also bought a book on growing crops in the winter. The idea being that you grow your winter crops in the summer and autumn and then, come winter, you have a garden full of veg that is ready to pick when you want it. The veg will sit there growing very slowly and you can harvest all winter long. It sounds great in principle so I'm going to give it a try. |

Those who got it wrong, for whatever reason, may feel defensive and retrench into a position that doesn’t accord with the facts.
