Generator, about 5000 watt, with enough fuel for a week.  That is probably not nearly enough, but a good starting place for this interim period of time before BF gets moving in a big way in the U. S.
Oftentimes the Lord helps those who help themselves.

After careful thought and reading some of the replies, I have decided that leaving the forum was in error.

KOMET163's Top ten preps for disabled and elderly people.

1. Medication : 90 day supply of each medication that you need. N95 masks, plastic cloves and goggles are a vital part of any disabled persons existance in a pandemic. Money in small bills is important but tamiflu annd natural remedies will prove to be life saving. Ore remedies can save lives. Keep hydrated and keep wearing N95 masks.

2. fuels : solar lighting and solar rechargers are a must for disabled persons. generators are nice but may be too noticeable for the area. So buy a coleman heater that runs off of 16.4 oz bottles. get plenty of sterno and plenty of camper fuel and portable stoves. Matches and candles are a vital part of the system. The one thing that you will need more than anything is thermal wear. get lots of thermal underwear and layered clothing. Get a manual washing machine.

3. security : Get guns and ammo, learn to use them. The one thing that I say would be very valuable would be night vison and a night scope sight for your guns. Get a fire extinguisher and a biohazard suit. I think that many disabled people will be killed as easy meat for gangs and slimeballs. Getting guns, ammo and having them ready to use is not enough,Having the mental ability to use it is anohter question.

4. Food and water : get at least 90 days of food water and utensils. Get paper plates pastic silverware and at least 2 can openers. get lots of water, at least 2 gallons per person per day.

The second 6 will come later
He who laughs last laughs hardest.

LOL  ..... That's quite alright satomick.

We will probably have to run one large Poll with approx.  30 different choices in order to narrow it down to one final Top 10 List.  Maybe we can all vote and use the poll results for the final list.

well i think most everything has been mentioned except  money.  What would be a good source of money?  Jewelry, of course could be exchanged for a bribe to get into a different area, if necessary.  It could be used to buy food or any other necessarities.  Gold coins, let's compare these to a paper dollar===no comparison.  Would u rather have a one ounce gold coin or $700 in paper money?  This is not rocket science or brain surgery.  Of course, you want the gold.  It's the universal currency.  They come in all different amounts.  I remember during the  vietnam war, I believe they used gold leaf.  In china, they sell gold balls, they are very popular, but can be used as currency if needed.  Think, now is the time to think, in the very near future, it may be 2 late

I like the books suggestion. I'd like to include cookbooks on how to use all these basic ingredients with our possible primitive cooking means over an open fire, on a camp stove, useing solar heat, etc.

I agree and I am printing this list
We all have different ways of providing this basic needs

It about  providing for the needs

For some rice and beans will be all they can afford
for some expensive dry food and enough to last a year
Heat sourse: wood burning stove or propane heaters
fireplace.
 1100 small water bottles or a way of going to a nearby lake ;
Transportation a car or a wagon to carry water  containeer from the lake
or a well .

A wagon to cart things back and forth .  There is a reason street people like their carts .

The list would have to be fluid to allow different needs and different finacial resourses.

I live a block from a lake and would need as way to carry water daily.
But I can afford water bottles.

I cant afford dyhradated foods but I can afford cans.

I live in a cold climate .  I have a fireplace and wood burning stove
