Prologue-
Augment of the thread: This thread I began after October 29, 2009. A new a potent pathogen emerged which I believe will become Pandemic and spread across the world. Its release could have been by accident. The formal spin is that it is a mutation of H1N1. This may not be the case for in many of those the tests for Swine flu are negative. It does not fit the behavior of classic Swine Flu and many scientists have said it is not Swine Flu. The Ukrainian govern persists on insisting it is nothing more. However if you will follow my other threads here and and wherever I post on the net- you will find this is not so. It is a believe the birth of a new Pandemic. And for this observation- the gathering of data and tracking, and a warning to keep silent- I am than much more to continue to follow th path of this disease until it sweeps the planet. Many other threads will arise and many will attempt to carry the torch. Coyote first posted of a mutation but that thread has morphed to encompass the entire phenomena and its spread- just as the site once focused on Avian-then Swine Flu- now turns to track this. I will put what I can here. This is not the same strain, if it even it is the same H1N1 that is currently moving through the U.S. on the Second Wave of the Swine Flu Pandemic. This is what we did not want. A meaner Swine Flu or a second potential Pandemic. Unfortunately we are seeing it either mutate or be accompanies by flu moving into its worst form - hemorrhagic - a bleeder. This makes it difficult to administer lung aerosol medications or even sometimes sinus- i.e. Relenza. It was inevitable that Swine Flu, if this is not something completely different - was determined as per its design to mutate. WOW! NOT GOOD! Thank you Med! Please keep us informed of whatever you can find.. I'm with you that it is most likely here already. I saw one person in the pics wearing an N95. We are all going to need full body protection from this one. Optimistic aren't I! I knew that when I was bleaching my groceries down, that perhaps it was over-kill, but what the heck might as well get a system down now, before a big one hits. PREP PEOPLE PREP!!!

The new strain or possibly new flu has now infected 37,000 in Russia and is spreading quickly. It is also killing.

Wasn't it Japan that dropped this bug in Asia during their bioweapons attacks of WWII?? Talk about long term consequences, if this really is plague. Makes more sense out of the hysteria. Also explains why the docs might die so suddenly. Still, could be flu I suppose. |

This isn't behaving like Swine Flu. Either that or it is Swine Flu on steroids. On October 28, 2009 I see 5-7 thousand cases with flu like symptoms. Now I see 191,000 cases and near 80,000 are children. It is good we have multiple users posting on this incident. When I first began posting on this, people were denying there even was an incident. Also, the Russian government was making announcements there was no problem and WHO had sent a team into the area and reported -seeing nothing serious-
All of this was misinformation and we are left with some hard questions to deal with. There are deep politics to deal with here- the fact that the who issue of vaccines and vaccine makers is under fire- and one vital nagging question of whether we have the cart before the horse with Baxter having filed patents for these viruses and working on vaccines before these outbreaks. The hardest part is tracking the shipments of vaccine and proving the connection. The obvious is often ignored. We were scheduled for massive vaccines in the U.S. and now things have been - delayed. That is another topic for another thread- but despite the overwhelming pump of official statements- we still have the deafening cry of the reports form the people of Russia, which are painting a much more intense story than what is being controlled in the media. Is there a conspiracy? That would be too extreme. Is the a deliberate effort to control information and suppress some very intense data. Yes. I have found it specifically stated that certain agencies and individuals have been instructed to sit on it- and while just as in the U.S.- .gov is taking maximum precautions-and hustling behind the scenes and whispering some pretty specific issues- the story is totally absent from CNN, FOX, and most mainstream news. A story with 191,000 cases of outbreak compared to a pitiful SARS escapade with less than 3,000 cases over years- makes no sense. Someone has their finger on the information throttle. Google is not your friend. The CEO of Google is on the advisory staff of the president and all searches on Google are monitored and recorded. Google is not a reliable source of information. Content (placing of results), what comes up first, what is or is not displayed can be controlled with money and influence. We worked with people years ago in .gov and pointed out the serious security issues and invasive nature of google to your computer. You could not get numbers for peoples searches about swine flu unless you were compiling logs of their searches. That means they can monitor every word you search on. What if you search on something not cool. Then it sends up a flag and you IP can be tracked, the data matched to you, and then private information can be harvested from your computer, all your friends, your entire history of surfing - all of your email and contacts. This is an invasion which started with the coming of spy software which also sold lists to commercial companies. if you will goto run do cmd.exe and netstat.exe you will see who is on your system right now. chances are you will see akimata- akimata services 30,000 companies which harvest and are on your system. Med - I agree with you - privacy does not exist on the internet. But something many people don't realize is how information is out there on the internet if people are interested in looking for it. For example, if your county land registry uploads documents and makes them searchable that's a treasure trove of information - people record not just deeds but trust instruments - all kinds of information is just right there at our finger tips. That concerns me a lot more than data which may be associated with my ip address. because the next question is to what purpose can that information be used? If it isn't obtained legally then I don't think it poses that much threat.

Why the Google Bashing? Yahoo was charging $200 to $600 to get your website reviewed and kept the money if they declined to list it. They effectively killed their leadership in the market. Google is free and it took over the search engine market because they gave people what they wanted. Med you have very little knowledge in how search engines work. I feel you have to be careful with the info you get from these other countries. Untill you see it on the news it is unlikely to be real. We have been following H5N1 here for a long time and have seen reports about it that did not turn out true. It is always interesting to follow but I am pretty skeptical.

Med, "akimata" only exists in your computer. If 30,000 companies that harvest data are using "akimata" and millions of people do use CMD and netstat worldwide. Then the word "akimata" would be all over the web. Correct? Wrong. Search "akimata" on any search engine, on any newsgroup, on any ftp, telnet, gopher BBS or anywhere and the only results you will get are peoples name and names of a game and nothing that you claim. I am posting new data from the Russian outbreak as we get it through official and local (in Russia) sources. This appears to many we have talked to, to be something else. I posted a video from Kiev as well as some numbers we are getting as we research not only the outbreak in Russia- but also possibly similar outbreaks in China and India. In some instances we are seeing the two diseases happening together in the same geographical area.
The truth about the new outbreak is that it is still posing some difficult challenges for the Russian medical system as well as the government. People are seriously upset, and in some districts of the Ukraine one out of three people are wearing masks. This is a disease that fiercely attacks the lungs and requires more ventilators and higher level intensive care than H1N1- Swine Flu- as we know it. There is a much clearer and more revealing view of this from inside Russia as opposed to Western journalists or media sources. According to those who chart CFR and put up graphs, despite nearing a million people sick- this is not a signficant event. Actually, the truth is it is. It is the effect- and that seems to be the cadence of CDC in the U.S. of the disease is much more important than the number of deaths or gravely ill. We now see an effect in Russia- with one in three in some areas wearing surgical masks. It is doubtful that these masks offer serious protection from a virus which is 3 microns in size. Also the fit and entrance of droplets around the mask is probably an additional problem. We still lack serious scientific information on the different strains represented in these flu like illnesses. They may not be a single strain. On another thread we continue to look for the possibility of a mutation- or more virulent disease- possibly not even viral that is causing this outbreak. I would like to ask a favor of the users here concerning this thread. There are two issues and one part I would rather avoid. My intent is to simply cover the outbreak, the numbers, and the potential for it becoming a threat to the rest of the world.
It would be highly unwise, to speculate where this came from, because there are pretty conspiratorial spins of this and I consider posting them dangerous. I will use an allegory of recent spins of saying our leaderships wanted to eliminate large numbers of the populations, or secret groups wish to, or there was a plan in place to develop bio-agents to do so. No interest in politics here. Interested in the outbreak. It will spread by nature, and be safe to post about because it is occurring and will probably effect other countries. However, some people may assume or have the Pollyanna idea you can post anything about anything and no one will hurt you. You are wrong. I think we need to track this. If you wish to post comments on its origin or conspiracy stuff please, and at your own risk, do so on another thread. I am not posting the link on this because there is creeping conspiracy stuff in their attacking government officials of countries. This is not a hot idea. I think, however the numbers, and data is important.

Ukrainian organizations in Canada have today issued an urgent appeal to the Canadian public and government for assistance in combating the serious explosion of severe acute respiratory illness that has struck Ukraine in the past week and now affects over 900,000 people, with some 40,000 people now hospitalized. A warning to users. As with any event of the magnitude we are getting stuff all over the net.
I have run into some incredibly disturbing reports and some even more disturbing data. I have sent one link to Albert and I would conservatively state from all the data I have- we have a serious disease situation in the Ukraine and complete news silence or what is being released is not exactly in sync with what is happening. Those of you who have not prepped- basic food, water, medicine- ignore the debate and do so. You can always eat the food and water and use up your medicine. Consider the SIP option seriously. As per triage nurses unless you or your children have high fevers and are in distress- ER is a place to catch whatever may be circulating and also give it to others. Act responsibly, conservatively and give yourself at least 24 hours to react to anything you may hear that is especially disturbing. While you may not be able to check all sources, understand, if there is a more severe disease then information about it over a short period of time will not be able to be contained. Personally, despite what is said, I am trying to keep a level conservative viewpoint. Med |

I totally agree with you on the food, water, and medicine. As of late I'm not sure how much of the information about what is going on in the Ukraine or the US is accurate. They take too long to give out the information and then it's never consistant. But I do know for certain through personal experience and hard times with four little ones that having a little extra food, water, and basic necessities of daily life can really make a difference. So, whether it's a deadly virus or a wild conspiracy theory it will hurt no one to prep even a little.

For now although the main spin is H1N1 - alternates are several types of viral pneumonia. On the other thread about mutation- Coyote's I have listed several alpha HN strains as well as beta influenza. Also the video statement was mixed with a lot of political accusations and conspiracy sounding rhetoric. Best to hang in there (they are doing the sequence) and we know for sure. So far this looks like the Swine flu with two seasonal flu strains hitting at the same time. I translated the text and of the 73,373 that entered the Hospitals 39,380 or 47,289 (depending on my translation) have already been discharged. Extreme measures of citizens in isolation and also containment- would indicate a more serious situation.
