The U.S. Surgeon General,,,,,,,,,,,, believes officials alone cannot do the job. He said he wants American citizens to arm themselves with information about the threat.

“Kind of the civil defense mentality of the 50's and 60's, where everybody understood there was a threat, everybody understood about bomb shelters, there was an understanding in society. We need to get that understanding back,” said U.S. Surgeon General Vice Admiral Richard Carmona.

Speculation is the only tool we have with a threat that can circle the globe in 30 days. Test results&news is slow.Factor in human conditions,politics, money&bingo!The truth!Facts come after the fact.

Yo Dr. General Dude,

Hundreds of Incoming 100 Megaton ICBM's are different than pandemic flu. With the former, prepping is futile. With the latter, we have a chance.

It would be nice to see the $Billions being set aside for a non-existent vaccine magic bullet be spent on large scale community prepping.

The new phrase may become, "Look it's a duck, take cover!"

thank god cows can't fly.   could you imagine the headlines? heard of cows drop out of sky on interstate.
