I cant even remember the last time we had a death here in Vietnam caused by H1N1...Maybe it was as far as 2011. What is REALLY going on out there?
Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases recently received a 46-year-old male patient, Yen Bai, with H1N1 influenza in a very serious condition and who died after two days. The patient was transferred to the hospital on 28/3 in severe respiratory distress. Although mechanical ventilation, use of Tami-flu but the disease worsened. The patient died after two days in hospital. Sample results showed that patients was infected with influenza A (H1N1) pandemic flu outbreak in 2009.
