The United States regime has picked sides in the Israel-Hamas war and has committed to funding Israel's ongoing bombing of non-combatant men, women, and children in the Gaza strip. It is significant these claims appeared in an American publication. Tel Aviv is the latest welfare-queen regime—in the tradition of Ukraine's Volodymyr Zelensky—repeatedly haranguing the American public with demands for free money. It's no coincidence that Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu is now seemingly ubiquitous on American prime-time news programs. His primary job right now is to demand money and favors from Washington and from other Western regimes. 

It will probably work. 21 wars and 216 armed military conflicts are currently threatening the world (Heidelberg Institute for International Conflict Research HIIK). The danger of the war in Ukraine escalating into a nuclear war is growing by the day. Innocent people are dying every day. We are worried about our future, the future of our children and grandchildren. We need a culture of peace and common security.

It is high time for a peace policy in Ukraine, in Europe and worldwide. In the run-up to the war in Ukraine, warnings were ignored and lessons learned on how to avoid war were disregarded. We must stop the slide towards a third world war and a social, economic and ecological disaster. “Peace is not everything, but everything is nothing without peace” (Willy Brandt). Social development, protection of the climate and nature and a future worth living for all are only possible in peace and only through joint global efforts.

We condemn the Russian invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022. We also condemn the previous breaches of treaties and unfulfilled commitments by NATO states.

The Ukrainian people need our solidarity. A ceasefire and negotiations to end the war instead of further escalation are in their interest. The killing and bloodshed and the destruction of the country and the environment must be stopped immediately. Negotiated solutions and plans are on the table. Negotiating does not mean capitulating, but finding solutions to complicated challenges!

We call on the German government to put an end to unchecked armament and to immediately mediate a ceasefire and peace negotiations. It must develop its own diplomatic initiatives and support existing peace proposals – especially those of the Global South.

DJ-My view is the Russian "Special Military Operation"-invasion of Ukraine came as a shock...

DJ-One of the main motives for pushing for NATO expansion to include Ukraine, Georgia was biden/h.clinton etc. "cult" claim/lie  "Putin made trump US president"...So "bad Putin had to pay for that" ...it was personal...some in the US elite believe(d) Putin could decide who becomes US president (1) and the best answer would be "kick out Putin" (2)...

Of course another point is the position of Europe-part of EurAsia and the position of the US -always "an Ocean away" from that EurAsia...Breaking the Iran-deal was a bad-trump-idea...Europe was not happy...

BRICS was on the rise for over a decade and a lot of European trade was and is with Asia...Russia may be an important source of energy-it is not the only one. The Russian "market" is limited; China, India are the main goals for EU trade...Europe most of the time did get a lot of energy from the Middle East, most of the time Russian energy only was a limited factor for Europe...Besides that "fossil energy" was believed to be over....

DJ-One could argue that higher energy costs stimulates innovation...doing more with less energy and energy from other sources (solar/wind, hydrogen etc.).

Very likely a "more critical view" on the EU is becoming dominant. EU countries ask the question what does the EU offer us at what costs...EU membership is not for free...

The EU now is getting more disorganized...that may explain part of the panic...After elections Poland, Hongary, Slovakia also "look east"...not happy with the outcome of the Ukraine war that the EU did push for...SE Europe still buying Russian energy via Türkiye/Turkstream...

Sweden, Finland -in a hurry to join NATO- now having second thoughts...Russia via StPetersburg (more people in that region than in all of Finland !) was the main electricity supplier...Both Sweden and Finland did have their own position in international relations...but joining NATO meant giving up that position...Austria, Switzerland, Ireland have good reasons for staying out of NATO !

Western weapons-because of high demand/high (energy) costs did get 3x to 5x the costs of 2021...So twice the military budget-following 2% of GDP as a NATO norm is getting you LESS weapons...

The Israeli military forced families to evacuate Al Nasr Hospital, leaving behind their premature babies in the intensive care unit. Israel refused to release the babies. The decomposed bodies of those babies have been found during this truce.

I hope this is "just" propaganda...Killing babies is about the lowest crime....

It is becoming clearer that the Ukraine war with all the well prepared economic sanctions, the NS sabotage and MSM demonizing of President Putin was a concerted effort to conquer and overtake Russia. A full-spectrum surprise attack on another country by the collective West. Pure piracy. 

Now that the assault has failed it has awaken a lot of people to recognise the sinister and cynical schemes and also brought light to the overwhelmingly many completely manipulated clueless and calous people among us. How many of the responsible were actually knowing of the plan and how many were just running along with the crowd? In any way we should not let either forget their complicity but hold them disqualified for future leadership. We must realise that the real crisis is just starting now and the first consequence may be a sharp split in our societies - maybe resulting in a "European Spring".
